Minister of Religion Vacancy

Position: Associate Pastor

The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a global Pentecostal church headquartered in Ogun State, Nigeria. Immanuel Sanctuary, a branch located in Dartford, Kent, England, is currently seeking to hire a minister of religion worker. The ideal candidate must be born of God, as stated in 1 John 5:18, and have a Pentecostal background. Our mission in the UK is to repair breaches and restore divine destinies of individuals for the advancement of the Christian faith. The church hopes to reach out to nations, set captives free, transform lives, and raise champions. The Dartford branch undertakes various projects, including youth education and training. We serve a diverse constituency of different backgrounds, races, and ethnicities, with a predominant focus on BAME (Black, African, and Asian Ethnic) groups.

Job Details

Minimum Qualification Requirement

He or She must be an ordained minster and must be able to lead prayers during church service
Ability to write Sunday school manual, and ability to teach Sunday school (adult and children class)
Higher educational qualification in any discipline and candidate must be able to communicate in English language fluently
He or she MUST HAVE a good training in ministry
He or she must be able to adapt, relate and accommodate different kind of people.
Must have over 2 years’ experience in ministry leadership from any department.

Job Description:

The Pastor will regularly meet with congregants and shepherd them through pastoral visitations, counselling, and ministry meetings.
He/she will assist the Senior Pastor in discipling and training leaders to build up the body of Christ.
The Pastor will preach regularly in the adult service and will also regularly teach the children.
He/she will lead various seminars and Bible studies throughout the year.
The Pastor will oversee the Community Groups which meet in different homes.
The Pastor will regularly meet with the leaders and help them to effectively lead their respective cell groups.
Performing any other role that may be assigned by the Senior Pastor.

Pay: £22,500.00-£23,500.00 per Annum

Volunteer Worker (Charity)

Position: Evangelical Outreach Worker

Location: Dartford, Kent Organisation: Immanuel Sanctuary Parish, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Type: Voluntary / Temporary Visa Eligibility: Role qualifies for the UK Charity Worker Visa

We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven individual to join our outreach team as a temporary charity worker. This is a faith-led voluntary position aimed at promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ, enhancing community welfare, and supporting the vision of RCCG in Dartford and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Evangelical Outreach:
- Participate in street evangelism, door-to-door visits, and community outreach events.
- Share the Christian faith with diverse populations, respecting local cultures and sensitivities.
- Distribute Bibles, tracts, and other literature aligned with the church’s mission.
Community Engagement:
- Support faith-based workshops, prayer sessions, and youth outreach programmes.
- Assist in organising charity drives, food bank distributions, and social initiatives.
Media and Communication Support:
- Help produce gospel content for online platforms and church media.
- Contribute to sermon outlines, motivational content, or discipleship materials.
Parish Support Activities:
- Provide logistical support during services and outreach programmes.
- Assist leadership in coordinating events and maintaining documentation.

Skills & Attributes

Deep personal commitment to the Christian faith and the evangelical mission of RCCG
Effective interpersonal communication and active listening
Passion for serving communities and demonstrating compassion
Ability to adapt to diverse settings and cultures
Organised, proactive, and willing to take initiative
Basic digital literacy is a plus (e.g. using presentation tools or social media)

Duration & Schedule

Commitment: 12 months (flexible depending on visa and individual arrangement)
Schedule: Typically part-time weekly hours, with weekend outreach and event involvement.

This role qualifies under the UK Charity Worker Visa scheme. Candidates must:

Be invited by Immanuel Sanctuary Parish
Undertake activities that support public benefit and charitable missions
Not receive payment for services (reasonable expenses may be covered)
